On the way to the national parks we would visit we stopped here, along the continental divide. Pretty incredible to think that running through Colorado there is a line that separates the watersheds of the Pacific and Atlantic oceans.

This is the view from the top of the continental divide on the way to Black Canyon of the Gunnison.

To get there, my partner and I drove in our friends Paige and Ted’s camper van, the one and only Vanwylder. If you are in need of a camper van, and you’re in Denver, truly this is the only place you need to look. We showered out of the back of this sucker, cooked all of our meals, charged devices, stayed cool when we needed to, and warmed up when we got cold. This beauty even took us all the way down to the bottom of the canyon…
