You've got a friend in me

Sometimes you see a moment that just tugs at your heart. In Roma Norte, a truly amazing part of CDMX lies a small park, Rio de Janeiro Plaza. We walked through this park every day when we left our Airbnb. Some of my favorite photographs were taken here, including this one.

This pup, which reminded me of Snowy, the dog from the Belgian comic series “TinTin”. The dog was friendly to everyone, brave as can be, and seemed to be having the time of his life. He would chase his ball into the fountain over and over again and ask humans who walked passed him for help. This human, happens to be his human.

As we walked around the fountain I found myself lucky enough to be one of the humans that Snowy yelped at and made eye contact with me. I looked towards his human, who smiled and nodded. So, I helped this sweet dog out of the fountain just for him to hop back in.
