Tucked away in the lobby of one of the most posh hotels in Mexico City is a skylight that is reminiscent of Rome. Stained glass is across the entire ceiling and is jaw dropping to say the least. This was captured at Gran Hotel Ciudad de México. If you have the money, it might be worth a stay at this luxurious center city hotel. But if not, it is well worth it to step inside the lobby.

My friends and I sat in this lobby and took in the majesty of this ceiling for at least half an hour. It was a welcome recess from the hustle and bustle of downtown CDMX
